Trio of June events announced for polo, proms and clay shoot at Allerton Park by Yorkshire Children’s Charity
The June programme of three must-go events to put on your calendar have been arranged in partnership with Boodles, Julius Baer, Traditum, DS.Emotion, Alexanders Prestige, Grantley Hall, Slingsby Gin, Lister Horsfall, The HACS Group, Bramham Park Polo Academy, Allerton Park Horse Trials and The English Marquee Company.
June 29: The Yorkshire Polo
The Yorkshire Polo will see guests welcomed with a glass of fizz, before enjoying a delicious surf-and-turf lunch, followed by a quintessentially British afternoon tea and two action-packed polo matches.
June 30: The Yorkshire Clay Shoot
The Yorkshire Clay Shoot will return for a second year, where guests will indulge in breakfast, canapes and a two-course BBQ style lunch, all intertwined with a great day of shooting delivered by Erik Aaron Shooting.
Open to everyone from novices to pros, this is a shooting event that stands out from the crowd for its informal, friendly, yet suitably challenging format.
July 2: The Yorkshire Proms
The Yorkshire Proms will be a classical musical extravaganza, featuring the full 50-piece Yorkshire Symphony Orchestra. Surrounded by thousands of candles, overlooking the lake at Allerton Park, guests will also enjoy a three-course gourmet dinner.
Supporting children in Yorkshire
As part of their target of raising £100,000 net profit over the course of this three-day programme, Yorkshire Children’s Charity are providing a fantastic opportunity for individuals or businesses to make a real difference to children’s lives in the region, while enjoying three fantastic days of great food, drink, sport and entertainment. The fundraising will help to support children in Yorkshire who are at a disadvantage due to ill health, disability or financial circumstances.
Charlotte Farrington, CEO at Yorkshire Children’s Charity, said: “The Yorkshire Polo and The Yorkshire Proms are two brand new events which we have combined with The Yorkshire Clay Shoot to bring you this series of exciting fundraising events we are organising this year at Allerton Park. We have set ourselves the challenging target to raise a minimum of £100,000 (net profit) for children across Yorkshire and we need all the support we can get to achieve this!
“Events such as these are perfect for company away days, corporate hosting or even a family day out – while allowing attendees to give back to children across the region who are really struggling. With funds raised from last year’s events, we have been able to support over 160 families in Yorkshire already – and this year, we want to do even more!”
