Wetherby Bridge Club Chairman Frank Smart presented a cheque for �950 to Ralph Towler, Treasurer of Marie Curie Wetherby Support Group. The money was mostly raised by sociable bridge supper evenings held over the last year at the club. 
The club also gave a cheque for �260 to Martin House Hospice.
Wetherby Bridge Club has over 300 members and is situated in the centre of Wetherby.

Pupils take up £25 Challenge

Budding entrepreneurs took up a sweet £25 challenge and delivered over £800 for Martin House Children’s Hospice.
