Harrogate’s greatest DJ’s banging new single is already making waves.

The renowned music producer, DJ, author and filmmaker’s tribute to the days of House music is, appropriately enough, called My House.

Released on Okano Records, the award-winning Rory describes the track as pure uptempo disco house mayhem.

Rory said: "We have already had support from some big DJs, as well as airplay on BBC Radio.

"And I’d like to thank Traxsource for including the track in their ‘Jackin’ Essentials’ chart.”

Out now on Spotify, Rory Hoy’s new single was broadcast during it’s first weekend by Jericho Keys at BBC Introducing in York.

In Rory’s more than decade-log career, he has released multiple albums on various worldwide labels and hundreds of singles, EPs, remixes and collaborations.

This year has seen the multi-talented musician make live appearances at the likes of Deer Shed Festival at Baldersby Park, Feva in Knaresborough, the Yorkshire Balloon Fiesta at Castle Howard and Helperby Beer Festival.

The ever-busy Knaresborough-based Rory recently DJ-ed Wildfire Recordings' Second Anniversary stream on Twitch.

Hoy is also a successful music author.

Following on from two previous music books, he published a third through New Haven Publishing earlier this year.

Called All You Need Is Help! How The Beatles Helped Other Artists, the fascinating 244-page book tells the largely untold and often surprising story about how The Beatles as a band and individuals contributed to other artists musical works.

It has been placed in the USA Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Library.
