Harrogate Sea Cadets recognised at inspirational awards evening
It was an opportunity to reflect on their achievements and what makes the Sea Cadets special.
Cadet First Class Joseph Gdaniec said: “It’s great for everyone to be recognised.”

Hide AdAble Cadet Yasmin Malik said: “The Sea Cadets is a community, we’re like a family and it’s really fun to be part of.”
Cadet First Class Jenna Quinn said: “It’s good because you get opportunities you might not get at school or anywhere else.”
Commanding Officer Michelle Blackburn said: “It is such a tough job picking the winners because they are all so talented, and that’s why we try to recognise all of the cadets where we can. It’s been a great evening celebrating their successes.”
The Mayor of the Borough of Harrogate, Coun Nick Brown, said: “You should all be very proud of what you’ve achieved.”
