Best Bar is divided into two stunning rooms – each with a different layout and a different atmosphere. During the day and early evenings you can expect a relaxing and romantic atmosphere – but then the music and the tempo increase so you can dance till dawn.
The first room offers a classy escape from the hustle and bustle of life. It’s all about chilled vibes, being relaxed and gentle background music which allows customers to chat with ease in comfort and serenity. It’s a place for meeting friends or spending some romantic quality time with your loved one.
The back room takes on a different feel altogether. Low multi-coloured lighting and floral décor compliment the Italian marble bar to give it a European feel – and with European opening hours! With a sound system pumping out almost 20kw of power you can get lost in the music and dance the night away until 1 or 2am during the week – and 4am at weekends – with DJs hitting the decks to give you a taste of holiday nights out right here at home.
Three massive screens have been installed to show major events – including the upcoming World Cup, other football matches and important boxing events. There’s also live music events – most Wednesdays there is a saxophonist playing Jazz and dance music.
Food and drink
You are truly spoiled for choice in the drinks department –the cocktail menu alone is a delight, with all the classics there as well as some Best Bar Specials. You could also be ordering a gin tree to share with friends, shots from just £3.50 and over 50 gins from the UK and around the world, over 30 rums from around the world and almost 30 whiskies from Scotland, the UK, America and Japan – not to mention tequilas, vodkas, brandies, Sambuca and a range of liqueurs there really is something for everyone.
And it’s not just the spirits that are impressive, there is also beers, Proseccos and a wide range of wines from entry-level popular grape varieties to luxury classics for the wine-buffs amongst you.
Wherever possible the food is sourced from local producers or suppliers to help other Yorkshire businesses in these challenging times. And there are some delicious cheese boards and meat platters, ideal for sharing and pairing with your drinks.

The founders of Best Bar, at Parliament Street, Harrogate, boast over 20 years’ experience in the hospitality industry. The family-owned venue was set up to meet the expectations of the town’s clientele whilst offering value for money.
With demands on everyone’s income increasing in the current economic climate, offering an affordable night out – with a touch of luxury – is something Best Bar work hard to achieve. They say balancing top quality products and service with great value is at the heart of what they offer.
Owner Yannis established Mykonos Bar and Grill in Harrogate town centre over six years ago – bringing an authentic taste of his home country of Greece to Yorkshire, and just over two years ago he and his brother opened the Santorini Express serving Greek street and café food.
The brothers then put their expertise into Best Bar, after the last lockdown – and they take their family values into every enterprise ensuring that their guests feel part of that family too.

With capacity for over 300 guests Best Bar has already gained a reputation as a favourite with locals for a night out or for private parties. The venue is available for hire for hen parties, birthdays, Christmas get togethers and anniversaries – whatever the occasion they will be happy to help accommodate you.
