Live music takes over West Yorkshire this weekend when the annual Live At Leeds music festival returns.
Bigger and better than ever, the four-day event returns to take over the city centre and the surrounding streets, with more than 200 bands performing across 20 of the city’s music venues, ranging from the O2 Academy and the Brudenell Social Club to newcomers including the Belgrave Music Hall and Oporto.
Among the headline acts are Forweard Russia - reuniting for a (second) one-off gig, this time closing the day at Leeds Town Hall. Drenge, The Hold Steady and Pulled Apart By Horses are among the other more well-kknown acts taking part.
The event also highlights the burgeoning Leeds music scene, giving around 40 or more bands opportunity to show off their talents, including the likes of Aollo Junction, NARCS and Daniel Pearson.

As preparations for the event picked up pace - with 15,000 music fans expected to descend on the city centre – we were able to catch a few moments with LAL’s Ben Lewis who picked out some of the highlights over the coming days.
We’ve also included some preview videos of just a handful of the many acts who will performing this weekend.
