Covid-safe Spring Flower show

Harrogate Flower Shows Spring Essentials, new Covid-safe gardening event for 2021, has been revealed.

“We are sowing the seeds of hope for the UK gardening calendar with plans for a special outdoor event next spring offering favourite features like show gardens, plant nurseries, live theatres, plus all the essentials you need for the new growing season,” said a spokesman for the show.

“Spring Essentials will make use of the fantastic green open spaces at the Great Yorkshire Showground to help ensure that we can all stay safe and still enjoy a great day out.”

Show Director Nick Smith added: “The pandemic has made all of us change the way we think and do things over the last few months and Harrogate Flower Shows are no different.

“The result will be a fantastic day out offering visitors flower show features they love, plus all the essentials they need for the new growing season.

The organisers warn that due to social distancing requirements, the number of visitors will be limited each day and tickets must be bought in advance.

Potential visitors can choose either a morning or an afternoon session and book their e-tickets online from February 18 to March 1.

The Spring Essentials show will be held Thursday April 22-Saturday April 25.
