Julie is showing her work, along with nine others, in a new virtual gallery instead of York Textile Artist Winter Exhibition, which should have been taking place in the city’s Chapel Cemetery on Novemeber 14 and 15.

“I am very excited to be involved our first virtual gallery,” said Julie.

“Times are changing and we must adapt. We hope people will see the images/video and all our individual media posts and then get in touch about buying our textile art.

“We have a floating tree gallery and thread painted landscapes, beautiful wool paintings and hand embroidery alongside wearable art.”

She added: “We are a group of Yorkshire artist and hope that customers living locally will find it easier to collect purchases.

Work includes landscapes, textiles, animals, nature, history and travel.

Alison Spaven, one of the members, is the owner and curator of Yorkshire’s only Textile Art Gallery.
