ONE of the highlights of this year’s Harrogate International Festival Fringe is launched tonight, Friday at 108 Fine Art’s new gallery.
Cold Bath House will see a private gathering for the arrival of award-winning indie singer Edwyn Collins for a joint exhibition of his delicate bird drawings in conjunction with renowned Scottish painter Adrian Wiszniewski of the New Glasgow Boys fame.
Collins, who has battled back from two major strokes, will sing a short set accompanied by a quintet from the Scottish Philharmonic Orchestra in front of an invited audience at 108 Fine Art’s latest addition to its gallery portfolio.
Called The Possibilities Are Endless, the exhibition will be open to the public tomorrow at Cold Bath House with a performance from the SCO quintet from noon-1pm.
The exhibition continues until Saturday, August 27 at 1 Crown Place, 11am- 5.30pm Tuesday-Saturday and at Cold Bath House, 16 Cold Bath Road, Saturdays 11am -5.30pm and at all other times by arrangement.
