An ex-King James’s School sixth former has unveiled the highlights of the programme for an exciting new literary event in Knaresborough.
Drama graduate Stephanie Jones revealed Release the Hounds festival would bring talent from around the country in a long weekend of poetry and performance events across the town’s pubs and a variety of locations.
Running from September 13-15, Stephanie said: “I hope that people will come along to enjoy the programme of events. It is going to be an awesome three days. I intend to enjoy it myself!”
There’s a terrific opening night performance at the intimate Frazer Theatre by Cornish poet and playwright Molly Naylor, supported by British poet Byron Vincent.
Saturday’s highlights include a show by one of the best performance poets in the UK, Luke Wright, alongside accomplished wordsmith Tim Clare.
