Wetherby Runners took part in the penultimate race of the PECO Cross Country league, with seven ladies running for Wetherby in a field of 175.
Pauline Munro stormed home first in the race with Lisa Mawer in second place very close behind.
Angela Reeve finished seventh and Jo Derry in 17th.
Following them were Debbie Dennison (77), Jacky Darley (133) and Lucy Callaghan (135). Wetherby’s ladies totalled 104 points to top the pile.
Overall, the ladies are lying in fifth position approaching the final race.
The ladies veterans team lie second.
Twelve men turned out for Wetherby and Paul Millgate was the star of the show as he finished fourth out of the 296 runners.
He was followed by Paul Nelson(20), Ian Legg (60), Rob Gray (67), David Fennah (143), Rob Whittaker (152), Nigel McKaine (160), Richard Bell (162), Steven Turner (200), Garry Keenan (206), Pater Callaghan (246) and Paul Dennison (258).
The men totalled 768
The men sit third in the first division, with the men’s vets team cementing their place in first.
The final race of the series takes place at the weekend at Northcliffe Park, near Shipley.
