Tips from Wetherby golf club’s Mark Daubney: Equipment doesn’t just mean your clubs
Mark says: “It is interesting how many people play one of the toughest sports there is and make it harder for themselves!
“And it’s amazing how many people use worn, slippy or even torn golf gloves and then we have studs or cleats on their shoes that have worn away or the teeth have torn off.
“We also see the golfer with £1000 plus worth of clubs using an old battered ball.
“It won’t fly properly if there are scuffs on it, so loss of distance and control.
“Please keep ALL your equipment in a good state, not just those prized golf clubs, it will make a difference.”
