Harrogate Railway manager Billy Miller has warned his high-flying troops to beware a strong Ossett Town in this Saturday’s Evo-Stik First Division North away day clash (kick-off 3pm).
Fifth from bottom Town sit eight points behind eighth-placed Railway, but Miller knows his troops will have to be at their best to pick up the points.
He said: “We know Ossett Town well, it will be a difficult game. They have good players, and I think their league position is false.
“They won’t be there for long, and we have to stay focused as we have tough matches to come before Boxing Day.
“We go into the match in good form but it will be a test for us.”
The return to action of Jon Maloney and Joel Dixon will hand Miller a boost on Saturday, and for the league cup match at home to Farsley on Monday, December 2 (7.45pm).
Miller said: “The cup match is good for both sides, as it gives us a weeknight game, but the league is our priority.”
On Saturday, Railway beat Prescot Cables 2-1.
Miller said: “We had plenty of possession, and could have scored three or four.
“Col Hunter, Si Parks and Alex Metcalfe kept it well moving forward.”
