Harrogate Railway boss Miller hails Darlington 1883 ‘payday’

Harrogate Railway boss Billy Miller thanked Darlington 1883 after the fallen giants brought more than 900 fans to Station View on Saturday.

Railway lost the clash 2-0 thanks to first-half goals by Joseph Tait and Stephen Thompson.

But Miller was proud of the resistance Railway put up against a side who have won eight out of their last nine games.

The official attendance on Saturday was 1026, the highest at the View since Mansfield’s FA Cup second round visit in 2007.
