FA Cup: Tadcaster Albion paired with Scarborough Athletic as Harrogate Railway get home start

Billy Miller's title winning Tadcaster Albion have been handed an enticing home draw against Scarborough Athletic in the FA Cup preliminary round.

The two Evo-Stik First Division North sides will face off at the i2i Stadium on Saturday, August 20.

The match will see Albion captain Jimmy Beadle and defensive stalwart Andy Milne face their previous club, while several Athletic players have worn the yellow and blue of Tadcaster in the past.

The two sides last met in a competitive fixture in September, 2011.

Harrogate Railway will have a home start to their 2016/17 campaign after they were paired against Albion Sports in the extra-preliminary round.

Should Railway progress, they will face either Whitley Bay or North and Stockton Ancients in round two.

Railway have been given a bye in the first round of qualifying of the FA Vase and play the winner of Whickham and Charnock Richard at Station View on September 24.

Knaresborough Town will face Silsden at home in the first qualifying round on September 19 and the winner will face either West Allotment Celtic or Hall Road Rangers in the second round.

Meanwhile, Tadcaster's first involvement in the FA Trophy sees them head to Glossop North End on October 8 with the winner facing a trip to higher league Buxton at the end of the month.
