This year’s Bramham Gala next Saturday, June 25, has a Wild West theme with all the thrills and experience of being in the Wild West.
A team of cowboy re-enactors will be performing scenes form a typical town with gunfights and lots of tumbles. A chilli eating competition will test how much heat gala-goers could take, and if that doesn’t do it, then have a go on the Bucking Bronco. In both cases the prize to the winner is more chillis.
There will also be a barbecue with traditional burgers and a saloon with real ale from Rudgate Brewery along with all other beers, lagers and soft drinks.
There wil also be sideshows, a bouncy castle and a visit from Wetherby Fire Service who will demonstrate their car cutting skills. There will also be stalls and stands from various groups.
TVs Christine Talbot will be along to open the Gala at 11am, and it remains open until 5pm on the Playing Fields off Aberford Road. Just follow the signs. There is parking available at £1 per car but if you are local then please walk up to the field.
