The driver involved in the three-car crash on Wetherby Road in October is due to appear at Harrogate Magistrates Court charged with drug driving.
Police were called to Wetherby Road at the Willaston Crescent junction in Harrogate on Monday, October 19 following a three car collision.
The driver of the yellow van involved, a 27-year-old man from Rotherham, was originally arrested for testing positive for drugs and then bailed.
Police revealed he returned on bail and was re-arrested after his blood specimen result showed the level of cannabis was in excess of ten times the legal limit.
Nobody was injured in the original collision and the driver is now due to appear at Harrogate Magistrates Court charged with drug driving and driving without due care and attention.
