Wetherby’s most popular dance venue will be holding their very first beer festival this spring.
The Engine Shed, on York Road, will be holding the beer and ale knees up on Saturday, May 4.
As well as a full day of entertainment, around 25 locally sourced ales and ciders will be available on the day. Doors will open at 12pm and stay open until the bar runs dry.
Tickets are priced at £5.
A donation will be made to Martin House Children’s Hospice in Clifford. The Engine Shed reopened in September 2012 and hosts a number of events, including dance classes.
Under the new ownership, the venue has concentrated so far on classes which offer Modern Jive, Salsa, Zumba, Line Dancing, Ballroom and Latin, Northern Soul and Street Dance.
A number of events are taking place at the venue before the beer festival, which include a concerns by the iconic rock band from the Sixties The Troggs who will playing on Saturday, February 23.
