Another weather warning for Harrogate district this weekend in face of Storm Dennis

Storm Ciara brought floods across our district in areas like Pateley Bridge, Masham, Boroughbridge and Knaresborough, with a 'danger to life' warning even issued in Pateley on Sunday.

While Storm Dennis is also set to bring heavy rain and strong winds to the north of England this weekend, and a yellow weather warning is in place for the district, the good news is that no flood warnings have been put in place yet.

The Met Office has put the yellow weather warning for wind and rain in place from 10am tomorrow, Saturday, until 11.59pm on Sunday and says some disruption to travel could be expected.

Heavy rain is forecast across the district throughout Saturday and into Sunday morning, with gusts of up to 45mph predicted.
