Original British drama comes to Thorner Victory Hall on Friday May 1 when Badapple Theatre presents The Unlikely Dads by Kate Bramley.

The play, which is touring village halls across North and West Yorkshire, tells the story of two friends who become fathers late in life.

They are determined to continue to meet up to discuss the Beatles and The Likely Lads despite the demands of family life.

Starring in the comedy are Robert Angell from BBC TV’s Waterloo Road and former Northern Broadside actor Robert Took, pictured above.

Thorner Victory Hall spokesman David Miller said: “Badapple were a great hit at the hall when they came a year ago with their play about the First World War, The Unlucky Village.

“So, we are greatly looking forward to welcoming them again.”
