Town mayor welcomes new homes at site

Housebuilder David Wilson Homes has returned to Wetherby and invited the town Mayor to open its first development in the area in 20 years.

Coun Norma Harrington, visited Templars Chase last week to officially open its showhomes and said she looked forward to seeing the development, off Sandbeck Park, taking shape.

Coun Harrington said: “I was thrilled to visit Templars Chase to officially open the new showhomes and welcome David Wilson Homes back to Wetherby.

“The build of new, quality homes is welcomed in the area and I’m excited to see the development take shape over the coming months.

“We look forward to welcoming new homeowners to Wetherby and hope they enjoy the wonderful community we have here.”

The mayor was welcomed by Maggie Horgan, Sales Adviser at Templars Chase, Chris Nother, Assistant Site Manager and Gary Taylor, Contracts Manager.

The site - managed by Mike Macnamara, who recently won a Pride in the Job Quality Award - offers homes from priced from £332,995 and visitors can take a look around the three-bedroomed Cannington and four-bedroomed Holden showhomes.
