Tockwith Church services: Sunday, April 21 9am Breakfast club, 11am Holy Communion by extension, 6pm Holy Communion (1662).

Breakfast club: all children and young people are welcome to join Breakfast club which meets once a month in Tockwith Church. The next one is on Sunday, April 21 at 9am. Computer course: following on from the successful computer course First Steps on the Internet run by the Workers Educational Association at Tockwith Village Hall, a follow up course is being offered with the aim of achieving confident computer use and improving computer skills. Details are to be confirmed but a brief outline of the course that it is a workshop format, where everyone has a tailor made course, running over 10 weeks starting on Wednesday, May 1, 2-4pm. Tockwith Junior Football Club: girls aged seven-18: Are you interested in football? Would you like to get fit and meet new friends? Would you like to learn new skills? For girls aged 16 or older: Are you interested in becoming a FA qualified football coach or referee? If your answer was yes to any of these questions then TJFC is the club for you. Bowls Club: Tockwith Bowls Club is a flat green bowling club, situated next to the football field at the Sports Pavilion. We have trained coaches who will help anyone who would like to have a try and anyone is welcome. We also have spare bowls for anyone wanting to try before they buy anything. Come along and enjoy an afternoon or evening in the fresh air. We have a club night on Tuesday nights which is a fun, come and try night. Tockwith Players: The players are a local amateur dramatics society based in the village hall who put on performances throughout the year, such as pantomimes, musical revues and plays. Yorkshire Countrywomen’s Association: Tockwith Village Hall on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm. New members are very welcome. For further information about Tockwith YCWA contact the secretary, Stephanie Smith, telephone 01423 358481.

Ainsty Conservation Society: ACS is a local organisation dedicated to nature conservation and is a registered charity. Workdays are on the morning of the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. Tockwith Under Fives: come and give us a try – your first session is free! Tockwith Under 5’s meet once a week in Tockwith Village Hall on Tuesday mornings 9.30-noon. Offering an inviting, inclusive and accessible environment to all children under five. Refreshments available, with free healthy snacks and juice for children. Session prices: Babies (birth - one year) £1.50, toddlers aged one to five £3 (the £3 covers families/carers multiple children). Art Group: Monday evenings at 7.30pm at Tockwith Village Hall. A friendly self-help group whose members use many mediums. There are some materials available for new members to try. Tea or coffee and biscuits are provided. For further information, telephone Janet Doherty 01423 358253.

Craft Club: Tockwith Village Hall on Mondays from 1-3.30pm. We welcome everyone to our group - from beginners to the more experienced, so come and join us for a relaxing and enjoyable session of crafting. For more information call Audrey 01423 358378.

Tennis Club: the courts are available to members from dawn till dusk. The club wants to encourage people to play and enjoy tennis and, for those who feel like becoming competitive, start a team and enter a league. The club is now affiliated to Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) British Tennis and has a very successful junior team who remain unbeaten so far this season. Your membership fee entitles you to free registration with the LTA which means you can get a tennis rating should you want to play against other players of a similar playing ability. Donate a book scheme: people can leave books for others to enjoy in the porch area of Tockwith Church. The idea is you donate a minimum of 50p per book or you donate another book back. If you do not come to church services you can access the books on a Sunday afternoon between noon-4pm.

Tockwith with Wilstrop Parish Council: the parish council meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month. Meetings are not normally held in August or December.
