Tockwith Church Services: Sunday, February 24, 11am Family Praise Service.

Tockwith Players: will be presenting The Life of Joseph – the songs, dances and action from Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, all performed in a new way. Performances are on February 21, 22 and 23 at 7.30pm in Tockwith village hall. Tickets are £7 or £5 (concession for small children) and includes a buffet supper served at your table and there is a licensed bar. Family ticket is £22 (two adults and two children). Yorkshire Countrywomen’s Association: The next meeting is an open evening, to which everyone is welcome, in Tockwith Village Hall at 7.30pm on Wednesday, February 27. Samantha Abbey of Get Ahead Hats will talk about what is involved in making her hats and will show off some of the many hats that can be hired or bought. There is just a nominal fee of £1 per person which you can pay on the door. Light refreshments will be provided. If there is enough interest in the evening, Samantha will bring models to model the hats. So please express your interest by ringing 01423 358481 and leave a message.

Donate a book scheme: people can leave books for others to enjoy in the porch area of Tockwith Church. The idea is you donate a minimum of 50p per book or you donate another book back. If you do not come to church services you can access the books on a Sunday afternoon between noon and 4pm.

Art Group: Monday evenings at 7.30pm at Tockwith Village Hall. A friendly self-help group whose members use many mediums. There are some materials available for new members to try. Tea or coffee and biscuits are provided. For further information, telephone Janet Doherty 01423 358253.

Craft Club: Tockwith Village Hall on Mondays from 1-3.30pm. We welcome everyone to our group - from beginners to the more experienced, so come and join us for a relaxing and enjoyable session of crafting. For more information call Audrey 01423 358378.

Tockwith with Wilstrop Parish Council: the parish council meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month. Meetings are not normally held in August or December.
