Tockwith Church Services: Sunday, March 3, no service at Tockwith church. There is a 10am Benefice Service at St Helen’s Church, Bilton-in-Ainsty.

Companions Drama Group: are presenting their production of Noel Coward’s Private Lives on Thursday, March 14 and Friday, March 15. The performances are at 7.30pm in Tockwith Church. Tickets are £7 and include refreshments. For tickets please call Deryck on 01423 358364 or Angela on 01423 358067.

Tockwith C of E Primary School: on Friday, March 1 Year 6 will be going to Crucial Crew for the morning and Speedmark are in for the day doing workshops with each class. There is a Skylab event on March 4 and 5 which is a portable planetarium the school has hired for two days. The children will be involved in this during the school day, but there will also be an event for parents in the evening of March 4. The Year 3 and 4 production takes place on Wednesday, March 13. There is a lunch for parents, grandparents and senior citizens on this day, and those wishing to stay for the production would be most welcome - please ring the school office on 01423 358375 to reserve a place. The school will take part in Red Nose Day on March 15, so as usual, you may see some strangely dressed people that day. Children from Year 3 and Year 4 will be visiting Robinwood Outdoor Education Centre for a very exciting few days in March with an assembly on Tuesday, March 26 to celebrate the event. Year 5G class assembly for parents and friends will take place at 10am on Thursday, March 21. The annual quiz to raise money for the Ebenezer Orphanage is on the evening of Friday, March 22, if you would like to reserve a table, please contact the school office on 01423 358375. The school Easter service will be held in Tockwith Church on Thursday, March 28 after which the school breaks up for the Easter holidays.

The Spotted Ox: open mic sessions every first Wednesday of the month at 8pm with Arnold of The Raisers. People are invited to book in advance or turn up on the night to perform or go along to listen. Contact The Spotted Ox on 01423 358387.

Ainsty Conservation Society: ACS is a local organisation dedicated to nature conservation and is a registered charity. Workdays are on the morning of the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. Membership of the society costs £5 per household per year. If you are interested in becoming a member, please contact Ian Williams on 01423 359196.

Tockwith with Wilstrop Parish Council: the parish council meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month. Meetings are not normally held in August or December.
