Third Lions beer festival

Wetherby Lions will hold their third annual beer festival on Saturday at St James church Centre.

This year the event, which starts at noon, will help boost funds of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Organisers said there will be a wide range of locally produced beers and ciders from Ampleforth Abbey.

For non-beer drinkers there will be a range of wines.

For children there will be a free bouncy castle and soft drinks.

As well as food there will be trade stands.

Admission is £5 (£3 for non beer drinkers) which includes a commemorative beer glass, a programme of tasting notes and a free half-pint.
