Sporting Legends Scarecrow Trail

Sporting Legends scarecrows will be on show in the area for all to see from Saturday July 4 to Sunday July 13.

The theme has been chosen for the Boston Spa, Thorp Arch and Clifford Giant Scarecrow trail which will see 92 creative characters in place.

Scarecrow trail maps (£2) will be on sale from Friday July 3 in Martin House, Douglas Yeadons and Costcutter. All profits go to Martin House Children’s Hospice.

In Boston Spa visitors can also go on the High Street Flag Trail where they can see 63 flags made by local people.

These replace the usual hanging baskets and reflect the memory of the Covid-19 crisis and how individuals dealt with it.
