LOCAL artists will put their talents on show next weekend at the third Annual Boston Spa Arts and Crafts Festival.
The event will showcase a host of activities at the village hall on Friday, October 14 from 10am-5pm and Saturday, October 15 from 10am-4pm.
An organiser said: “This has proved to be a very successful community event in which local artists and craftspeople can exhibit and sell their work which is always of a high standard.
“It is amazing to see what creativity there is in this small corner of Yorkshire.”
Tony Rushworth will be exhibiting wooden toys while his daughter, Julia Williams will show her stained glass as will Ian Addy who once worked in York Minster.
David Wardingley‘s wood-turning stall has proved popular in the past and organisers think it will do be again.
For the first time, two talented A-Level students - Naomi Barrow and Ellie Moore - will be taking part.
Festival organisers are very keen to encourage talented young people and hope that more will come forward in future.
There will be a huge variety of paintings, photography and greetings cards and many crafts on show and for sale.
