Trip to Boundary Mill at Colne: Women’s Institute members, husbands and friends from the local branches travelled on a Christmas trip to Boundary Mill at Colne, Lancashire. This is a very large retail outlet specialising in clothing, fashions, household and kitchen items complete with large coffee shop and restaurant. It is a popular venue for coach trips from all around the north. Members of the party had a good day browsing and buying fancied items. Before leaving the party sat down to a fish and chip tea at Banny’s restaurant situated in the car park. Thanks to Margaret Midgley for her organisation and driver Tony Broome with his Britannia Coach.
