In the run up to Christmas Wetherby-based Rotary Club of Lower Wharfedale raised £670 in support of Spinal Muscular Atrophy Support UK, the chosen charity of President Christine Clarke.
The amount was raised through collections in Collingham and Boston Spa where £129 and £131 were raised respectively. A further collection in Morrisons in Wetherby raised a futher £409.
President Christine and her club members issued thanks to the public for their suppport of this worthy cause and also thanks to Morrisons for hosting the collection.
