Repeat of comedy and curry night

ORGANISERS are warning people to act fast to get tickets for the ever popular Comedy and Curry night which is returning to Boston Spa for a fourth time.

The event, started by local mums to raise funds for St Mary’s Primary School was only intended as a one-off but requests for other shows have led to the fourth instalment.

A spokesman for the night said: “All three previous shows have been sold out and the next show at Boston Spa Village Hall on Friday, November 18 looks set to do the same again – so you’ll need to move fast if you want a ticket.”

Promoting the event is Leeds funnyman Silky, with sets confirmed from Jim Smallman, described as ‘wonderfully gritty’ by the Guardian and Tudur Owen BAFTA winning star of SC4’s PC Lesley Wynne Show.

And last but by no means least, the curry element will be provided by Saffron Indian Restaurant, with a range of starters and main courses available to buy on the night.

There will also be a licensed bar selling a selection of wines, lagers and hand pulled beer.

Tickets from Douglas Yeadon’s, Boston Spa or at Doors open at 6.30pm.
