Calling all pint lovers!
East Keswick is hosting its 11th beer festival sponsored by Wetherby Estate and Letting Agents Beadnall Copley, on Saturday October 10, to raise money for the village hall, a registered charity.
This must-attend event has been a great success over the years as beer enthusiasts travel from all over Yorkshire to sample the beers and ales on offer.
Starting at noon in the East Keswick Village Hall, punters can tickle their taste buds and taste one of the 15 beers, including old favourites from Ridgeside and Geeves and new beers from Whippet brewery.
During the day, guests can listen to some excellent entertainment including the vocal harmony and acoustic delights of Morvyn Andrews and rock band Rough Edge will continue the merriment with some well-known classics.
Anyone who is feeling a little tiddly can tuck into one of the tasty treats on offer.
The entrance fee is just £5 and includes a commemorative glass and programme.
There will also be a tempting range of ciders and wine on offer.
Daryll Digpal, Managing Director of Beadnall Copley Estate Agents, said: “We are delighted to be sponsoring
this great village event once more as it allows us to give something back to our wonderful local communities which have supported Beadnall Copley so well over these past 25 years”.
David Wort, Festival Organiser, said: “We are really excited about East Keswick’s 11th beer festival and hope the whole community comes together once again to enjoy another fun-packed day.
“The money raised this year and money raised in previous years from the beer festival and other fund-raising events will go towards updating the facilities and essential maintenance of the village hall, ensuring the hall will remain a place all residents of East Keswick are proud of.
“A special mention goes to our main sponsor Beadnall Copley, as their support is invaluable.”
