Harrogate service held in tribute to our war heroes
The Christmas Remembrance service took place at the war graves at Stonefall Cemetery on Sunday, December 22, with more than 1,000 war graves illuminated with tea lights.
This year’s event raised money for two good causes - Help for Heroes, who work with injured military personnel, and The Commonwealth War Graves Foundation (CWGF).

Hide AdBenji Walker, who organised the event, said: “This is to remember our fallen and recognise the great sacrifice they made for us, and in recognition of our serving military who protect us every day.
“Putting a candle on every grave is a small gesture to show they are not forgotten and their memory will live on.”
