OPINION: Join our charity events to raise vital funds - Sammy Lambert, Harrogate Hospital and Community Charity

I hope you all enjoyed the lovely sunshine we experienced recently – the Harrogate Hospital & Community Charity (HHCC) and Volunteer Team and I spent a lovely sunny day doing our 12 hour stepathon on June 1 in celebration of Volunteer Week.

The team, along with our fantastic volunteers, walked around Harrogate District Hospital continuously for 12 hours – covering a whopping 35.5 miles!

This epic challenge was incredible and I would like to personally thank all the volunteers who took part and to all of you who supported us on the day, by waving, cheering us on and donating!
