Looking Back at Sherburn in Elmet

Sherburn-in-Elmet, April 1956 and  Mr Arnold G Wilson is pictured taking his cousin, Miss Julie Wilson, for a flight  in the Percival Proctor I which has visited every country in Europe.  Mr Wilson of the Yorkshire Aeroplane Club, Sherburn Aerodrome had been lent the aircraft by  Mr Joe Taylor who retired as Aviation Manager of Shell and BP.
