Wetherby students of Stagecoach Performing Arts joined others from around the country in London’s West End.

The young talent from Wetherby and Garforth and other performing arts schools tackled songs from Beauty and the Beast to Les Miserable at Shaftesbury Theatre.

Stagecoach Performing Arts Principal, Lisa Druett says: “Watching the children from Garforth and Wetherby perform was a wonderful moment.

“Many of them dream of a career in the West End, so to get the opportunity to perform there at the weekend was magical.

“At Stagecoach, we believe in the potential of every child and performances like these inspire the children to be confident and unleash their talents, not just in performance, but in the wider world.

“I have absolutely no doubt that the children that performed on Saturday will go on to great and glorious things, both onstage and off.”

Stagecoach Performing Arts Garforth and Wetherby are part of a network of more than 600 part-time Schools Worldwide. Early Stage classes are available for children aged four-six and Main Stages six-18.
