Organisers of the 2018 Thorner Beer Festival have said the that the event is one of the best ever.
And they announced that over £6,500 was raised on the day to help fund renovation to the village’s Victory Hall.
Organiser Peter Schofield said of the 14th annual Beer Festival: “The gorgeous weather at the weekend helped make our festival one of the best we have had.
“The Sun shone all day keeping everybody outside to relax in the sunshine and listen to a great line-up of musicians.”
He added: “With over 700 people attending and perfect weather, the two Kegs of Lager, eight pins of cider, 100 bottles of wine and 26 firkins of real ale were soon finished off (17:55 to be precise). In summary a perfect day.”
