Harrogate restaurant has 'ceased trading'
The handwritten note was pinned to the window of Wagyu Bar & Grill which had opened in at the spot on Parliament Street in June left vacant when Jamie’s Italian restaurant closed last year.
The independent restaurant, the brainchild of Warrendale Farm, a long-established Yorkshire family business near York, had pledged to offer the finest quality British Wagyu beef in a "gate to plate" steak exercise from its own award-winning farm at Warter near Pocklington.

Hide AdThe name itself, Wagyu refers to any of the four Japanese breeds of beef cattle.
The steak is renowned for its health benefits compared to normal slices of beef.
It has been hoped that as many as 20 to 30 jobs would be created by the new restaurant.
The emphasis was on using local suppliers.
A major refurbishment also took place on the premises before the opening.
