Classic cars provided a Father’s Day treat at Harewood as they celebrated the occasion with vintage fun.
The stately home went full throttle into the summer season with the renowned event which hosted 1,000 vintage and classic vehicles.
Alice Falkingham, Head of Events, said: “The Father’s Day Classic Car and Motor Show is one of our most prestigious and busiest events of the year.
“Highlights this year included the world’s only wing walking team, The Brietling Wingwalkers and welcoming over 1000 classic and vintage cars.
“We’re already looking forward to hosting more vintage fun next year for the 20th Anniversary of the Father’s Day Classic Car and Motor Show at Harewood.”
As well as the wingwalkers and cars, other attractions included arena actions, swing dancing and vintage fashion stalls.
Other summer events planned include outdoor theatre with Harewood House as the backdrop, including the classic Pride and Prejudice on June 30, The Mikado on July 11, Shakespeare’s As You Like it July 25, Wind in the Willows on August 8, and Babe the Sheep Pig on August 31.
The fun continues with VW Festival, back at Harewood for two full days of VW heaven August 17-18.
Alice added: “Following the success of the renowned Drive-in Movie event at Harewood over the years, we’re upping the ante this summer to bring you a Movie Weekend with a difference August 24-25.”
