Thorner clubs, societies and villagers are getting set to enjoy the village gala which will take place on Saturday June 27 on the Millennium Green.
Activities kick off with a parade through the village, starting from the Beehive Pub and Restaurant at noon.
The arena, on the Green, will be the focus for many different activities during the afternoon including a birds of prey flight demonstration, games for children as well as a dog show.
There will be a slow bike race for adults, dancing, singing and demonstration of cart building by the Scouts.
Local businesses, charities and active clubs from the village will set out their stalls at the event.
And there will be plenty of options for food and a charity bar.
An event spokesm said: “All in all it will be a great afternoon out for all the family.”
