HAREWOOD House greeted royal visitor Princess Anne recently.
The Queen’s daughter visited the stately home and was greeted by David Lascelles, Earl of Harewood, and Diane Lascelles, Countess of Harewood, to view an art exhibition at the Grade I listed house which was home to Yorkshire Princess Mary for 40 years.
Princess Anne took a tour around two exhibitions celebrating Princess Mary’s life.
David Lascelles, Earl of Harewood, and Diane Lascelles, Countess of Harewood, welcomed Her Royal Highness to the Royal Harewood: Celebrating the Life of the Yorkshire Princess and Marcus Adams: Royal Photographer, photographs from the Royal Collection exhibitions.
To mark the Diamond Jubilee a selection of previously unreleased photographs from the Royal Collection, as well as two vintage prints of Prince Charles and Princess Anne taken in October 1953, are on show.
