Tadcaster Albion have brought Champion's League winner Jonathan Greening back to the i2i Stadium.
The former Manchester United player rejoins his brother Josh at the club and will bolster the ranks in Tad's promotion challenge in the Northern Counties East League.
Greening left York City earlier this month after an ill-fated three-game spell back at the Minstermen.
He had re-registered at York in a bid to stave off their relegation fears but he was released by new boss Jackie McNamara after seeing red in the 6-0 defeat at Portsmouth.
The midfielder came out of retirement and joined the Tadcaster under Paul Marshall 12 months ago.
However, his stay at the club came to an end due to youth team coaching commitments at York.
In his stay at the Brewers, he helped the club reach the quarter-finals of the FA Vase.
The signing comes at the end of a bad week for the club after their ground was devastated by flooding.
