Brand new aerial attraction Treetop Nets in Ripon is celebrating the start of UEFA Euro 2016 tonight by offering the opportunity for participants to play on one of Europe’s only aerial football pitches.

The attraction, which boasts the world’s highest trampoline, is adding special goal posts to one of its treetop pods for the duration of the renowned tournament and will even offer a special 20% discount to all participants who arrive wearing a national football shirt within that time.

Treetop Nets opened last month and gives visitors the chance to run, bounce, tumble and slide on 2,000 square metres of giant trampolines, walkways and slides all contained within hand-made 4m high rope nets and suspended between trees up to 50ft off the ground.

It is home to the longest aerial net walkway in the world, as well as a gigantic aerial ball pool, a tree house and a 50-foot high crows nest and it is located right next to Lightwater Valley Theme Park.

Mike Turner, owner of Treetop Nets, said: “We are huge football fans and really wanted to mark the start of the Euros in style.

“Not many people can say they have played football high up in the trees but our visitors will be able to do so throughout the next few weeks.

“We look forward to welcoming them – and their football shirts.”

To make the most of the special discount, tickets must be pre-booked.
