Eight-year-old Martha raises awareness of dementia to help people like her granny
At just eight years old, Martha Stoner has already managed to secure an impressive £800 for the Alzheimer's Society by growing her hair for the Little Princess Trust.
Martha will have it cut at the end of this month and transform the life of a child who has lost their hair through cancer treatment, by providing enough hair for a full wig.

Proud mum Sarah said: "Martha is a very kind girl, she always wants to help others and wants to help people like her granny. She wants to make a difference to all the other people out there who are going through the same thing.
"Being so close to her granny and caring about her so much, Martha really wanted to do something to help. She's been really good with her granny, sitting with her and being so understanding.
"Her granny's deterioration has been rapid and devastating, and I just know Martha wants to help as much as she can.

"Martha is beautiful inside and out, I am very proud of her. If anyone would like to donate that would be amazing. She keeps saying, 'when can I have my hair cut'? It's getting very long now, but it's not long to go."
