A bird’s eye view with a difference was taken of the new year 12 students photograph at St Aidan’s and St John Fisher Associated Sixth Form.
On their first day, as well as meeting their forms, collecting their timetables and taking their first lessons, the Harrogate students were involved in creating a new Year group photo.
The previous year’s photo had involved an aerial shot of the students in a group, however, this year they wanted to create something a little more unusual and eye catching.
Cath Harrison said: “This year we have tried to create a memory with a difference.
“The idea took careful planning, expert co-ordination and extremely helpful students.
“We used a drone to capture the special moment and we are extremely proud of the result and the feedback we have received to date.”
