The Year 11 prom at Wetherby High School has been hailed as a great success and a wonderful celebration at the end of the students’ five years at the school.
More than 150 students and staff got together to mark the end of some students’ time at Wetherby High School at The Bridge Hotel and Spa in Wetherby.
Lots of awards were presented to students, and Alex Bairstow and Ellie Klouda were crowned Prom King and Queen.
Head of Year 11 and student progress manager Gwyn Barnett said: “It was a brilliant evening and a spectacular array of dresses, suits, cars, buses, and even a combine harvester were on display to friends and parents.
“The Year 11 prom is an important event in the calendar to bring to a close the students’ five years at Wetherby High School and a chance to celebrate all their endeavours.”
