Darley Community Primary School is set in the beautiful rolling Nidderdale countryside just eight miles from Harrogate.

We are very proud of our school and were delighted that our most recent Ofsted inspection (May 2016) judged us as “Good” across the board and recognised that: “Pupils’ behaviour in and around school is outstanding and contributes to the very positive day-to-day experiences of pupils and their parents. Consequently, pupils attend very well and speak very highly of their time at the school.”

In addition to this, our end of key stage two results were above the national average for reading, writing and maths, a fact that we are very proud of.

We are committed to providing a high standard of education to enable all our children to achieve their potential within a stunning location.

We are determined to provide a creative and stimulating curriculum where our children are inspired to learn and to develop a love of life-long learning.

We provide opportunities for our children to develop their skills in all areas to enrich their whole learning experience.

Our school is a full strategic member of the Harrogate and Rural Teaching School Alliance and the Dale Teaching School Alliance. Both alliances are made up of local schools who work collaboratively to improve outcomes for children.

As a school we believe in developing a self-improving, self-sustaining school system to ensure that all our stakeholders realise their potential.
