Harrogate’s Ashville College has honoured the success of its pupils at its annual Speech Day.

Held at the town’s Convention Centre, speeches were delivered by Andrew Jones MP, Headmaster Richard Marshall, Chairman of Governors Peter Whiteley and the outgoing Head of School, Will Farrar.

The Mayor and Mayoress Elect of Harrogate as well as Governors, pupils, teachers, parents and former pupils also attended the event.

The whole school came together for one prize giving ceremony celebrating the achievements of pupils as young as four from its Reception classes, right through to the School’s Upper Sixth.

The service was a part of a larger Celebration Weekend event, which included a summer gala, black tie dinner for Old Ashvillians and the annual teachers’ vs pupils’ cricket match.
