Long Marston Primary School swung into action for the start of the new school year when it hosted a hoedown.
The event was declared a huge success as, blessed with great weather, it saw a host of exciting activities including juggling, a magician, face painting, bouncy castles and much more.
A spokesman said: “The hoedown to celebrate the beginning of a new school year and for new parents and children to meet one another and for all to have fun.
“This is a small, rural village school and thanks go to the parents and friends for all they do to help raise funds for those extra special things needed.
“It really was a day to remember and a great start to term.”
