Second man appears in court

A second man has appeared in court charged over an armed robbery at a village post office in Leeds.

Mark Pick, 41, of Lea Farm Road, Kirkstall, was arrested on Friday by police investigating the raid on High Street, Boston Spa, on March 23.

Pick appeared at Leeds Magistrates’ Court on Saturday morning.

He was charged with robbery and possession of a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence.

The hearing was adjourned and Pick is due to appear at Leeds Crown Court at a later date.

Another man, 38-year-old Martin James Pick, of Willow Avenue, Clifford, appeared at the magistrates’ court on March 26 charged with robbery.

Martin Pick is due to appear at Leeds Crown Court on Thursday.

A 32-year-old woman, who was arrested in connection with the incident, currently remains on police bail pending further enquiries.
