Elderly man arrested after exposing himself to teenagers at Harrogate Cenotaph

An elderly man who exposed himself to two teenagers at the Cenotaph on Tuesday, September 20, has been arrested.

The man was seen walking between the Cenotaph on Parliament Street and the Bus Stop several times between 4.45pm and 5.10pm while committing the offence.

Officers said they identified and arrested the man at the scene of the offence after he exposed himself to the two teenagers that same day.

Police are conducting enquiries into the offence and have requested the public's assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, they are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the man's behaviour to come forward.
